My name is Nia, a mother of an energetic 3 year old and an avid trail runner. I first discovered the Hong Kong trail scene not long after I arrived in 2010. Soon after, I became hooked on the sport, competing when I could and even running whilst pregnant. Hong Kong trails are some of the most accessible in the world and getting out to explore new routes is incredibly easy and a lot of fun to do. When I’m not running or parenting, I can be found directing races as part of Racebase, and working as a Wellbeing teacher and running coach at HKA. My passion is to support and empower women and young people through running. I hope to build their self-esteem and confidence and help them recognise their strengths and areas for growth by understanding the impact this can have on their daily lives.
